Midday Refresh + Coaching Session

Do you regularly ask yourself
“Is it bedtime yet?”
Of course it’s not. You still have:
- Meals to prep
- Mouths to feed
- School work to do
- Taxi service to run
Not to mention the fact that bedtime itself seems to drag on and on.
So you just keep pushing on. There’s no time for you.
People who say you just need some time to yourself must live in some kind of alternate reality.
But then it happens.
Your kid spills her water bottle on the way out the door, and you lose it.
And you? You let it all spill out. You’ve got quite a mess on your hands. Then there’s the clean up, and the water is the easy part.
The apologies, the guilt, the blame? Those are exhausting.
Then it finally hits you.
You can spend the time in recovery mode everyday, but it’s a lot less stressful to spend time preventing it in the first place.

the question is
But what does that look like when you’re already stretched thin?
small “nervous system deposits” midday can have huge impacts
But you don’t have time to figure this out. You needed it yesterday.
One more thing to do feels like too much.
Imagine an afternoon
where you feel:
Less stressed
Because you are able to offload some of that morning stress before your afternoon hits hard.
Energized
Even without “overdosing” on caffeine, you have some gentle, sustainable energy.
Capable
You’re not “perfect,” but you model real regulation for your kids, even when it gets hard.
Let me simplify the process for you & make it even more effective.
introducing

on a busy day, It could be as short as 10 minutes.
But you’re busy and overwhelmed already. We’ve all bought things we’ve started and never finished. Let’s not let this be one of those.
If you need:
- gentle accountability
- help troubleshooting hard days
- help finding effective tools faster
That’s where the Coaching Session + Midday Refresh shines.
the guide process
The Refresh audios and tools guide you through making and implementing your own simple 3 step Refresh. You’re busy & overwhelmed already, so I walk you through the process myself in 4 easy audio modules.
01. why & Learning cues
Change is hard so why is it worth the effort? We talk a little about your brain/body and jump into learning your cues so that you can support yourself before you lose it.
02. Transition plan
Getting there in the first place can be one of the hardest parts. So module 2 focuses on how to intentionally shift to this time in your day, even with kids who resist.
03. plan it
This is it! We make your actual plan, including your simple 3 step process. We start building out your nervous system nourishment menu, which you’ll continue as you learn more about yourself.
04.troubleshooting
Life happens. The Refresh guides you through looking at worked and what didn’t so that your Refresh can fit your real life.

hey there
Iโm Whitney. I love helping moms and kids enjoy each other.
It took me an embarrassing length of time to realize I was such a reactive mom because I was so overstimulated. I know if an sensory-trained OT can forget that moms have nervous systems too… lots of moms probably forget.
When I started supporting my own nervous system regulation, things weren’t magically perfect, but what I noticed first was this:
I (mostly) liked being around my kids again, instead of regularly counting down until I could have a break.
You can, too.

Let’s be honest
You know it’s not reasonable to expect perfect afternoons, but you shouldn’t have to go to bed feeling guilty most nights either.
