- You can use sensory input to feel calm, responsive, and in control. Sensory input mattersbecause 80-90% of the function of the vagus nerve, which is involved in regulating stress & relaxation, is sensory— carrying information to your brain, not just from it.
- Your nervous system’s #1 job is to protect yourself, so your overreactions & behavior are actually valuable information, not just a guilt trip.
